How to make a power bank
WHAT IS A POWER BANK
A power bank is a portable power source for charging a smart phone when drained.Power banks are made with batteries,solar cell e.t.c.
They are made in various sizes,shapes,capacity and longetivity.
In this post we will learn how to make a portable and durable power bank with some cheap materials.
MATERIALS
1.regulator L78s05
2.four li-ion battery with 5000mah
3.an old USB cable.
STEPS;
#connect two batteries in series by following the circuit diagram below@
# connect the regulator to the circuit by following it pinout.
#shread and cut out the USB cable for connecting to the phone and connect the red for + and black for - to the output voltage of the circuit.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The power bank works by regulating the battery🔋 voltage connected in series to 5v 2A needed for your phone ,the output voltage is connected to a USB cable for charging.The strength of the device depends on the capacity of the batteries and the connections i.e the higher the capacity the more time I can use before it gets drained and the more the battery connected in parallel the faster it charges
